Advisors, success coaches, and mentors

We would like to have three people assigned to a student. So students would have an advisor, a success coach, and a faculty mentor. We know that we could create tags and following rules to accomplish this, but that would mean a student wouldn't see both their success coach and faculty mentor. We would have to choose one or another, or is there a way to allow students to see who is following them?

  Alison,

  There is currently no way for three people to be assigned to a student. We currently support two roles to be assigned one being an Advisor type role and the other being a Coach type role. There is also no way for a student to see who is following them, This was designed so that people could track the success of a student without the student seeing everyone that is following them and monitoring their progress. 

  So there isn't really a good answer to this specific situation currently. The two ways you could go about it are have mentors as followers and the student wouldn't see them one their profile or replace either the advisor or coach with the mentor.

  Just wanted to add our support that CFCC would also be interested in having more than two people assigned to a student if this feature was to be considered in the future.

  Yes, for our assigned Financial Aid Coordinators a third spot would be useful.  It would be helpful for students to see them along with their assigned Counselor and Advisor.

  I agree - I would also like to have a third (and maybe even a fourth) spot to have a well rounded success team :)

  We would like to have the ability to assign a student and "advisor" type role and allow it to hold multiple people.  Currently we are doing a subscription and subscription label to handle this.
