Removing Following Updates from Digest

Is there a way to take following updates out of the digest?  We have hundreds of these coming through and they are preventing people from seeing important information.  Thanks!

  In personal settings, you will see a dropdown menu at the top of every list set of information. This menu allows you to choose if you would like to see the subsequent information for your advisees or advisees and students you follow. If choosing just advisees for some or all of these areas, this will limit the notifications.

  Can we disable it across the board though for everyone?

  In our role-based permissions, you can set up the ability to "Can Follow Students".  This would limit the ability to Follow individuals which would, in turn, disable the ability to select receive notifications for those students you follow.

  We definitely want to keep the ability to follow students on, but it would be nice to disable all the digest updates on who's following who.  These are coming through by the 100s when we set bulk following.
