One of our sudent's cant log into Aviso, yet we have reset his password on our end and its still not working.

There are a few potential reasons this could be happening.
1.) Verify that the student does not have multiple records in the Student Information System.
2.) The student somehow received the same log-in credentials as a former or current student creating a duplication.
Using the Person Overrides feature in the Administrative screens will solve this issue. You can read more about this as well as other common Login Issues here:
